Ernie Ball Nickel Wound Electric Guitar Strings are made from nickel-plated steel wire wrapped arounda tin-plated hex-shaped steel core wire. The plain strings are made of specially tempered tin plated highcarbon steel producing a well-balanced tone that compliments all guitar types and playing styles. This set isoptimized for longer scale lengths and multiscale instruments. All strings are 40 long and the .074 has a 37taper.
